Testimonials
Here are some direct feedback comments from
participants in the 2007 event:
On working better as a team:
Really enjoyed working as a team and discovering talents, levels
of determination and a willingness to work together that I knew
we possessed.
The event has really benefited our cross functional team by
understanding more about how we tick individually.
We came away with a far better appreciation of each others
capabilities, motivations and willingness to work together for a
common cause.
From a team with different backgrounds/abilities, who, in some
cases didn't even know each other before the event, we built a
strong bond and have formed great friendships
Being a team of varying work grades it has helped with
communication back in the work place between non management,
management and senior management
On source2sea:
Brought out the best in individuals and teams and is the best
team development event I have been on.
Great event that created a safe environment to discuss personal
issues, analyse personalities and abilities.
S2S provided a fantastic experience full of physical and mental
challenges that took everyone out of their comfort zones. Will
definitely benefit us back in the workplace.
Now understand the meaning of 'no pain no gain' which has never
made any sense to me at all - without the hard bits there is no
feeling of achievement or progress
Amazing!
On leadership:
Gave me the opportunity to develop as a leader in a challenging,
but safe environment.
Correct amount of reviews & reflection which enabled me to
question my approach and reasoning towards my management style.
Also gave me the opportunity to experiment with different
styles.
Found that with the correct techniques it’s possible to
encourage people to believe that they succeed at anything they
set their minds to.
Learned to trust my judgement more & utilise team strength in
the workplace to benefit performance
Learned that I have to delegate for greater success.
Gained a much greater appreciation of how to bring a group of
different people together and motivate them to do more than they
thought possible.
I’m now more tolerant of other people, have realised that
coaching works far more effectively than telling. |
